Extended Self and Identity over Time

چکیده
In this paper, we discuss the Extended Self Hypothesis proposed by Andy Clark and David Chalmers, address objection that extended self lacks stability continuity needed to be considered identical over time. We try show such an is untenable. also view according which another type of self, i.e., narrative can seen as extended, argue not threatened its extension beyond boundaries person’s body. Hence, at least far these types are concerned, there no need confine ourselves internalized when thinking about problems personal identity.
